Apparently, Tea Packaging No Have Benefits for Antioxidants

RESULTS Analysis of the level of antioxidants in tea packaging bottles concluded that consumers do not benefit from tea which she drank.

Health-conscious consumers may not gain anything when spending money to buy tea botoh packaging, including a healthy dose of antioxidants, or polyphenols are believed to prevent various diseases.

The scientists report the results of these conclusions at the National Meeting of the American Chemical Society (ACS) to 240. They assert, many beverage containers-including those of their analysis-is increasingly popular among citizens of the United States with sales valued at USD1 billion. In fact, some brands contain less polyphenols until consumers have to consume 20 bottles to get the benefits of polyphenols equivalent to one cup of tea.

"Consumers understand the concept of good health benefits from drinking tea or eating other tea products," said Li Shiming PhD, who reported the study with Professor Chi-Tang Ho and colleagues of other researchers, as quoted from Health24, Tuesday (24 / 8 / 2010).

"However, there is a large gap between the perception that eating is a healthful tea with the actual amount of healthy nutrients, namely polyphenols, found in bottled tea drinks. Our analysis of bottled tea drinks found that the polyphenol content in them is very low," he explained.
